Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-02-04

This Privacy Policy explains how Hear Here LLC (“HearHere”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our voice-based communication services.

1) Overview and scope

This Policy applies to information collected through https://hearhere.io, the HearHere applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

2) Information we collect
  • Account information provided via OAuth providers (e.g., identity provider IDs, display name, email address).
  • Billing information for paid subscriptions, which may include billing address and phone number.
  • Audio recordings you upload and transcripts derived from those recordings.
  • Emoji reactions, timestamps, and interaction metadata.
  • Optional metadata you provide, such as titles, priorities, topics, or location.
  • Basic operational data (logs, device/browser signals) needed for security and reliability.
3) How we use information

We use information to operate and improve the Services, including to:

  • Enable conversations and playback between permitted participants.
  • Generate transcripts, translations, and other accessibility features.
  • Provide analytics and visualizations (e.g., emoji usage, engagement patterns).
  • Maintain safety, security, abuse prevention, and system integrity.
  • Improve product features, performance, and user experience.
4) Automated analysis and machine learning

We may analyze audio, transcripts, and interaction data using automated systems to enhance the Services. This can include signal processing, natural language analysis, sentiment analysis, or other statistical and machine-learning techniques.

Where feasible, we may use aggregated or anonymized data for research or development of features within the Services (for example, improving transcription quality). Anonymized data is handled to reduce the likelihood that it identifies an individual, but no anonymization method is perfect.

5) Content visibility, algorithms, and endorsement

Content visibility depends on user-selected settings, conversation membership, and access controls. We make reasonable efforts to respect these settings and to label them clearly, but users are responsible for configuring access appropriately.

We do not endorse user content. Any highlighting, ordering, or surfacing of content by automated systems does not reflect our views and occurs without editorial review.

Some content may be public in the future if users choose to publish it publicly. Private content is not intentionally made public.

6) Monetization and advertising

HearHere does not display third-party advertising and does not sell personal information. We generate revenue through user subscriptions.

We may explore creator partnership models in the future. Interested creators should contact support@hearhere.io.

7) Scraping and automated access

Automated scraping, harvesting, or bulk extraction of content or data from the Services is prohibited without our prior written permission.

Multiple accounts are permitted unless used to evade safeguards, abuse the Services, or violate applicable law.

8) Children and age restrictions

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts are created using OAuth and providers that impose their own age requirements.

If you believe a child under 13 has used the Services, contact support@hearhere.io.

9) Data security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is completely secure.
